Upconverting Receiver Audio Over Hdmi Please Help With Receiver Connections? I Have No Idea What I'm Doing.?

Please help with receiver connections? I have no idea what I'm doing.? - upconverting receiver audio over hdmi

I have a Harman Kardon AVR 347 has two slots HDMI input and one output HDMI, LCD TV with two HDMI inputs (DVI is not said - sure what that means, because it has a DVI slot, and " Digital Audio site) by it, Upscaling DVD Player with HDMI and component, basic DirecTV satellite box (in the process of upgrading to Comcast HD, but so far not in my house and expensive purchase DIRECTV HD box) S-Video and analog audio (Red, White & Yellow connectors - only red and white for audio).

Here's how it is connected at this time, please let me know if it works:
- DVD receiver HDMI to HDMI (Input 1)
- DIRECTV S-Video and analog audio to the receiver (video 2 entries)
- HDMI Receiver LCD TV (HDMI to HDMI input 2)

Do I still connected somewhere else? Since the HDMI cable to your TV, the basic analog audio and S-video deal with satellites? How can I better make this configuration? What do I need? Please respond with advice, please

You are not really bad, "the cable HDMI 7.1 digital audio. If you live in the UK, am i S-video from the satellite for a good SCART cable in two ways. Scart input if your TV is RGB enabled ( This signal is divided into three primary colors of red / blue / green in their respective Feild give a clearer picture and sharper). If you live in the United States and then, without really see the results of your cable box I can not help doing I'm sorry: (. "Re-bang on the tray with an HDMI receiver, so no worries. if the cable has an SPDIF (Sony / Philips Digital Interface) optical output. Connect the optical cable to the receiver at 5.1 Surround Sound on TV. The list is endless, all about experimentation.

Your on the right track. Make sure that your receiver can convert the image, not when you run the video of him on television does not. Also look at your satellite receiver has an optical digital or coaxial digital output, and put a cap in place. If you are on your high-one with the Comcast DVR and HDMI will (have to specifically ask for it) will probably cost a bit more, but you get a better picture. You also need the HDMI cable directly to TV, they also run on AV receiver dosent speak.
